The conference structure will follow the habitual organisation scheme of most modern academic meetings with plenary sessions, parallel sessions, poster sessions, workshops and roundtables, and social events. Meeting time and rooms for the IGU executive will also be arranged as per their needs. The conference will take place during five principal days of meetings and presentations from August 6th to 10th. Local and regional field trips of modest price will be interspersed during those five days of meetings with an end of conference banquet. This will be followed by a unique post-conference field trip of a more expensive nature to Northern Quebec.
